What’s Happening Now?

Mujassam Watan has launched its 7th edition under the theme ‘The Inspiration is everywhere.’ Operations Manager Mohammed Al-Ghunaimi emphasized the initiative’s commitment to inspiring creatives, enriching cultural heritage, and encouraging unique designs.

This edition introduces major partnerships to expand its global reach, focusing on public roads and squares. Winners will be announced on Saudi Arabia’s 95th National Day, with a total prize pool of 50,000 euros.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province and Chairman of the Eastern Province Development Authority, the authority signed a cooperation agreement with the Eastern Province Municipality and the Al-Fozan Foundation for Community Service, represented by the “Mujassam Watan” initiative, to develop the entrances to the Dammam metropolitan area.

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, received the chairman and board members of the “Mujassam Watan” competition and the winners of the sixth season today, Tuesday, at the governorate’s Diwan. The competition focuses on sculptures in various squares, including Al-Qallafah Square, Al-Maseera Square, and Katheeb Square.

His Excellency, the Mayor of the Eastern Province, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, in the presence of Mr. Abdullah bin Abdul Latif Al Fozan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mujassam Watan Competition, the Mayor of Khobar, Dr. Mashari Al-Naim, Secretary-General of the competition, and Engineer Ahmed bin Saeed bin Nasser, Vice President for Implementation and Projects at the Eastern Province Development Authority, inaugurated Khobar Memory Square on the waterfront.
